What does it mean to conduct a children's choir?

A: What are you doing for a work?

B: I work for music.

A: (gladly surprised) That sounds interesting; a singer? a musician?

B: I am a conductor.

A: (a sound of high appreciation) Really? In which orchestra?

B: It's not an orchestra, it's a choir.

A: (slight disappointment, still some hopefulness...) Oh... a chamher choir? male-? female?

B: A children's choir.

A: (the level of the interest cools near to zero) Oh... I see...
